From sunrise to sunrise how do you know what’s wasted or worthwhile?

Ready for a ZINGER? Any day that you or I don’t connect with God is a wasted day – regardless of what else happens. Sounds negative, huh? But it’s true. Why?

Because GOD is THE most important PERSON in your daily life! Here’s the positive, flip side. Every day you intentionally connect with God brings stability, poise, joy, vision, direction, purpose, usefulness and power for living in that 24. It’s a daily, holy habit of worship and happiness.

Here’s how God expresses Himself: “Be very careful, then, how you live – not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit.” (Ephesians 5:15)

When you hit the deck tomorrow say, “This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord.”

Then live it up! Go to bed. Get up. Do it again. That’s worthwhile.
